Budapest it’s a multicolored city, as it was once called, the Paris of the Eastern Europe. And indeed, Budapest is plenty of attractions, from its paprica’s food to all the major sites related to the WWII and the Soviet Block.
First of all you need to understand how the city is organized. The entire city is split, let’s say, in two by the Danube’s River. On the western side of the Danube’s banks, it’s Buda, the mountainous area, with the must see Castle Hill (encompassing the Mtthias Church, The Castle, an so on). On the eastern side of the river lays the Pest, the hustle area, where life is concentrated in 🙂
